LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION

The language of instruction for this workshop will be English and Hindi and is likely to be a combination of 80% English and 20% Hindi.

WHO IS THE WORKSHOP FOR?

Anybody looking to learn street photography or improve the quality of their work in the street photography/documentary genre.

We welcome mobile phone photographers too.

Ideally, the participants should be well-versed in using their cameras and know about changing the values of aperture, shutter speed, ISO and white balance on their own individual camera.

WHAT EQUIPMENT TO CARRY?

A pad, a pen, a good mood and an open mind. If you own a camera/phone bring it along as well. Please remember, it might be raining on the day of the workshop, so get good protection for yourself and your camera.

WHAT’S THE FEE?

INR 10,000. Ten Thousand Indian Rupees (Inclusive of GST and taxes)

Note: This is the workshop fee only. Participants are expected to pay on their own for travel (outstation and local), stay, food and other expenses that they might incur.

WHAT’S THE SCHEDULE?

The tentative structure/schedule for the workshop is as follows. This is subject to change at the photographer’s or organiser’s discretion.

DAY 1 - 22nd July, 2023, Saturday

The workshop begins at 10am

10am - 1pm: Classroom session - Introductions. Talk by Vineet Vohra

1pm - 2pm: Break - including lunch

2pm - 6pm: Shooting on location/Photowalk

DAY 2 - 23rd July, 2023, Sunday

The workshop begins at 7am

7am - 11am: Shooting on location

11am - 1pm: Break - including lunch

1pm - 5pm: Classroom session - Vineet provides critique,feedback and tips on photographs taken by the participants.

Note: All the participants are expected to submit 8-10 photographs with no editing/processing for the critique and feedback session on Day 2. We consider this part to be the most important part of the workshop and it will really help you grow as a photographer - we promise!
